Carbines Engineering Robot

We’re pleased to announce that as of 19th May 2017, Autoline Automation Ltd has purchased Carbines Engineering Ltd.
Carbines Engineering Limited specialise in industrial robot integration, and are the exclusive New Zealand agent for Motoman and OTC Daihen industrial robots. Their robotic systems enable clients to maximise production and profitability.

We’ve identified a key opportunity for our clients within the cobots – collaborative robots – space, with the potential to revolutionise production. Traditionally, manufacturing robotics have been heavy, immobile machines that are separated from workers for safety. But the newest generation of human-assisted robots, integrated by companies like Carbines, change all that.

These new generation of robots can work side-by-side with humans. Robots employ advanced sensory and vision technology to provide a safe environment for workers, and many can be operated from a tablet or other device. Some models can be moved around the factory to work where they are needed.

With over 30 years designing, building, and servicing robot installations, Carbines are the industry leaders in providing robotic solutions.Their New Zealand and international client base include companies using robotics as part of MIG/MAG welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminium, as well as plasma cutting, routing, spot welding, material handling, palletising and press tending applications.

The Carbines purchase marks an exciting step on the path of future growth for Autoline. We stand by our mission to continue to offer the latest manufacturing innovations. With Carbines’ expertise in the robotics arena, we can assist our current and new clients in creating fully customised manufacturing systems incorporating the latest technology.

We’ll continue to offer the same high level of service you’ve come to expect. Carbines staff will become part of the Autoline team, and director Peter will remain on for at least the next 12 months before embarking on a well-deserved retirement.
